Jonssey began in 2020 as the solo project of songwriter and producer Jonssey with the release of "A-Eye," featuring vocals by British singer-songwriter Kintsuku.

In 2025, the project evolved into a band. The official live lineup consists of Fotini (lead vocals/guitar), Quentin (lead guitar/synths), and Florian (drums).

Formed in Lyon, France, Jonssey blends the intensity of alternative rock with immersive electronic textures.

Their debut album, High Tech / Low Life, unfolds across nine tracks. Its lyrics reflect a world shaped by technological dependence, alienation, identity, and the strange feeling of being connected to everything while belonging nowhere.
